Flashing. Twisting. Twirling. Bright.
All around Alex lights and sounds moved and swayed, a colossul sea of chaos. Club Reign. He had heard the name long ago, and with finding his brother as much of a girl thingy as he could have imagined, Alex had decided it was the place that would harbour him this night. A brawl broke out to his right as he slouched over the dingy bar, and he turned his back to it to yell to the bartender, a slumping, rotund man, "RED BULL AND VODKA!" Mmmm...alcohol made it all better. Alex settled in for a long night of people watching, if you could call them "people" in the Club Reign.

Maddie squeezed through the door, trying her best to blend in with a crowd of new clubbers, they really didn't like having her in the club since she usually did something stupid, with or without being drunk. For once, her weak attempt to blend in worked, she made it into the club and headed straight for the bar.
She wasn't in her usual costume of purple and black and was wearing a surprisingly bright outfit in an array of colours; wearing a neon blue and white scarf for apparently no reason, a hot pink tube top, that did nothing for her pretty flat chest, a short skirt in lime green, rainbow tights, and yellow knee high boots, with heels to make up for her small height. Yes, she was quite a wardrobe malfunction, but it flowed on her rather nicely compared to the many other outfits she'd worn here.
Maddie grinned as she headed for the bar, if she could find someone who didn't already know her, she could maybe get a few drinks.... She grinned as she spotted the figure slouched over the bar, and took the seat next to him, ordered her drink, and glanced at him. He was good looking, almost familiar looking.... and depressed..... SHe quirked her head, "You alright? You don't look so good...."

Alex turned to the new-comer, ready with his "F*ck you," but stopped in his tracks. Perhaps it was the way the bright colors were stark in the Club Reign. Perhaps it was the way she was so outgoing. Perhaps it was his tenth Red Bull and Vodka. Alex was in love. He gasped silently, and got into a more ready position, one elbow on the bar, his other arm holding the drink at the ready for anoth swig. "Oh... I'm fine. Just a lonely night... Nice outfit. Really makes you- uh- stand out." The bartender had finished fixing her drink, and held out a hand for his pay. "I've got it." Alex stooped down to root through his pockets, a brief flash of light illuminationg multiple knives and razors. "Here." He threw a crumpled ten at the bar tender. "I'm Alex."

"Thank you, meh name's Maddie," She grinned, surprisingly calm, compared to her ecstatic and usual super loud ways... She didn't even bother to lie about her name. The flash of metal caught her eye, any shiny or sharp object did, and she raised a brow, as she took a sip of her own drink. He was interesting in the least... "Say, you from around here?" She couldn't quite pin it, but there was a certain familiarity about him.

Alex smiled slightly, almost a painful expression. "Not really, I'm just in town. Visiting...relatives. You?" She seemed familiar to him too. Scarily. He chugged a bit of his own drink, though keeping an eye on her and attempting to remain "cool."

"Really?" She grinned, "I just live under a bridge." She said it before she could stop herself, it was true though. Her cardboard boxes were piled up with many newpapers beneath the bridge. She mentally slapped herself, she was being stupid as usual and speaking without thinking. She quickly took another swig of her drink to keep herself from saying anything more.

Alex almost fell off his stool when she said this, but managed to recover well enough to say, "Must be a nice view. I'm used to that sorta thing I guess." In truth he was. He had been living on the streets for quite some time.

Maddie blinked, surprised, then grinned, "I guess so... Where do you live then?" A stupid question to ask, especially if he didn't live around here, she wouldn't have the slightest clue. She looked over his features in silence, waiting for his reply, and taking note of his unusual bright red eyes and black hair. She felt herself blush, whether brought on by the drink or his looks, there was still something eerily familiar about him, and it was bugging the hell out of her.

Alex waved an airy hand. "Hear and there... I don't like being "attached" to one place." He gestured the bartender for more drinks, "I have to say, the view here is mighty fine." His eyes slid appreciatively over Maddie's Body.
