As Blackfire shot the bolts the wind rushed past X. The Energy from the attack was incredible and X was impressed.
But he knew Star was no Pushover and would have something to throw back at her sister.

Starfire raised up her hands, her emotions powering her starbolt energy. Green streaks followed her palms as they became level with her face.

"Ha!" she shouted as green starbolt energy expelled from her hands and began to twist around her. She wielded it mentally, forcing the energy to form a sort of cocoon like shield around her. Blackfire's starbolts hit the shield fiercely, but Star held on to it with all of might, keeping it up.

Then, when she saw an opening in Blackfire's attacks, Star thrust her hands outward, ripping the cocoon from around. With a flick of her fingers, the bright mass of energy intertwined and then shot at Blackfire, leaving a green blur behind it.

In her fury, Blackfire could not react swiftly, she had fallen back and was panting. Her fingers slipped and she didn't realease the bolt fast enough, opening her for an attack. Starfire had taken the chance. Blackfire was hit back into the side of a boat, as the green flare hit her. Blackfire moaned as she slipped into the water. She shook her head, and bulleted out of the water again, leaving a streak of purple behind her. She would not give up, blood droplets running from her shoulder on impact of the boat. "HA!!" She yelled in a battle cry (lol), as she charged a furious starbolt between both hands and realeased them at starfire who hung in the air.

Red X took a step back as the fighting went on, his foot was burning and throbing. He fell down to one knee and winced in pain. He had taken to much damage to intervine and have twp starbolt throwers attacking him.

He took off his boot, wrapped his foot with a red bandage and put his boot back on. It would help with the pain and he would be able to walk this way.

Starfire crossed her arms over her face, as if for protection. Blackfire's bolt hit her straight on, causing Starfire's body to be thrown backward.

"Ahh!" Star yelled in surprise and pain when the attack struck her arms. She back tumbled in mid-air, in a cringe-like position, with her arms still crossed in front of her face.
After two complete rolls, Star loosened up and stopped herself with an effort, flying up to face Blackfire once more.

"Sister... why do you insist upon attacking and ruining the lives of the innocent?" Starfire yelled up to Blackfire, moving her arm ever so slightly toward the busted up boats that Blackfire had destroyed. The owners would come in the morning, and find with distress that their life dreams and hard work had been destroyed. Star only hoped that no civilians would come to investigate the noises that the pair were making, and get caught in the raged battle.

Tensing herself, waiting for Blackfire's answer, Starfire created two medium sized orbs in her palms, her green eyes still lit brightly in contrast to the darker blue sky.

Blackfire flew close to Starfire, about 4 yards facing her. She listened to Starfire speak almost as if intently listening. Her eyes opened wide, as she looked at the broken boats. She seamed almost sorry like a child lost, she looked down. Her eyes narrowed, as purple orbs grew at her fingers. "I'd rather die than give up my nature." She said coldly, "AHYA!" She yelled throwing two starbolts. She flew back, almost thinking of what Starfire had said, stopping herself, turning around, and flying away.

Blackfire's head throbbed as she flew away, what was she thinking. Hurting people what did she care. He body felt weak, the sun hadn't shone in awhile and she felt lost(heheheh....)

Red X stood up, and looked down at his booted foot...
'Stupid Starfire...If it werent for you...'
He looked up at her and glared.
He began to walk towards Starfire, foot still throbbing in pain.

Starfire's eyes widened and she thrust her own starbolts ahead, each one slamming into Blackfire's own and nullifying them.

Starfire braced herself for more, putting her arms outward and creating more starbolts in her hands. However, she was surprised to see not more starbolts, but a streak of purple getting smaller and smaller... Blackfire was flying away.

A confused look came over Star's face, and she momentarily forgot her surroundings, her gaze focused on the fading image of her sister. For a moment, she felt sadness overcome her... what had their relationship come to...
